Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

  • Participant: An individual enrolled in the Work-Ready English and Skills Program (WRESP).

  • Program: The training course offered by SY35 Training designed to improve language proficiency and cultural understanding.

2. Attendance

  • Each course accommodates a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 participants.

  • Courses with fewer than 10 participants will still be charged at the same cost.

3. Course Structure

  • Participants will attend 8 in person classes, and 4 online classes.

  • An assessment will occur at the beging, middle and end of the course. This is both to measure the progress of the student and to measure the success of the course. 

  • The final assessment is part of the 'successful' completion of the course.  In addition all modules must be attended. 

  • To help students consolidate their learning, and to identify areas of future learning, a short final project is required.

4. Course Completion

  • A full refund will be paid for each student if they do not receive an offer of an interview for a specific job role within 6 weeks of successfully completimg the course. 

  • The head trainer will sign off each student as successfully completing when the elements of the course are completed. 

5. Payment Terms

  • Should a participant, upon successfully completing the course, not receive an offer of an interview within 6 weeks of completing the course, the customer will be offered a full refund of their cost.

  • Successfull completion occurs when the trainer signs off a participant. This will occurv after completion of all modules, assessments and final project.

  • Payment for each participant is made by the local authority.

  • Full refunds are available for cancellations made more than one month prior to the course start date.

  • Cancellations made less than one month in advance will incur a 50% non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than one week before the start date will require full payment. In such cases, we will work with the client to provide alternative content.

6. Course Schedule

  • The program runs for four weeks, with two in-person sessions per week and one online session each week.

  • The daily schedule is as follows:

    • Morning Session: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    • Lunch Break: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM

    • Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

6. Disruption and Conduct

  • Disruptive participants may be asked to leave the program to maintain a conducive learning environment. We are committed to providing mentorship and assistance throughout the course delivery.

7. Liability Disclaimer

  • SY35 Training is not liable for any injuries or damages incurred during the course. Participants engage in activities at their own risk.

8. Confidentiality

  • All participant information will be kept confidential in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of United Kingdom,
